PREGNANCY MASSAGE-RELAXATION

Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage ­– to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. It is also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies. We customize each session to each expecting mother.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE-BREECH BALANCING

We use a variety of manual techniques to create space for better baby positioning which encourage the baby to turn.  While we are not able to guarantee that the baby will turn, we help to give a little more space to encourage the movement. This work is done fully clothed please wear loose comfortable clothing.  Some stretches may also be suggested to further help make space. **Please note that these are 90 minute sessions**

PRENATAL HARA ABDOMINAL WORK

The goal with prenatal abdominal work is to loosen  the abdominal muscles, relax the diaphragm, reduce round ligament, Inguinal Ligament and low back pain. Please wear comfortable clothing. 

PRENATAL INDUCTION MASSAGE

Shiatsu acupoints and meridians are manipulated  and massaged to help to encourage the onset of birth.  While there is no guarantee that an induction massage will induce labor, because it relaxes the mother and reduces anxiety, it can put you back on the labor path.
